Should I bring my pump to the hospital?

Spoiler alert...YES! You absolutely should bring your pump to the hospital!

Here are a few good reasons why you SHOULD bring your pump to the hospital:

1. Labor can be unpredictable and so can breastfeeding. While we certainly hope for easy, breezy breastfeeding experiences, that isn't always the case. Having a pump with you (just in case) is a good idea should you can any unexpected complications with birth or breastfeeding. (Watch the video to hear my personal story with this!!)

2. The hospital lactation consultants are AMAZING resources for teaching you how to use your breast pump! This can be incredibly helpful for first time moms or veteran mamas who've decided to give a new pump a try. Bring it with you and someone can teach you how to use it.

3. You might be like me and are already planning to be an exclusively pumping mama. Instead of relying on whatever pump the hospital has on hand, bring what you already own and use.
