All derived from the CDC Proper Storage and Preparation of Breast Milk
Personally, when I pool my milk I prefer not to exceed 3 days in the refrigerator, at the end of that duration I will bag for the freezer. If I know I will not be feeding freshly pumped milk I will prep for the freezer right away. As they say, there's more than one way to skin a cat, in this case it couldn't be more true. Your choice of how you prep, freeze and feed your milk may vary from mom to mom, dependent on your comfort level with breast milk handling.
