Eufy S1 Pro vs Lacevo

Oddly this has been a popular comparison request. Personally, I wouldn’t have chosen to compare these two pumps, but the people have spoken. When I give it some thought, it does make sense. We are talking the Eufy S1 (Pro) - with or without the charging case and equipped with warming flanges, up against the sexiest pump that ever was. The Lacevo, the staple black motor, and flange tunnels that have gained popularity for elastic issue. What’s fair is fair, let’s compare!!

I want to put this out there ASAP, these two pumps in my opinion (this is a review, of course it’s my opinion haha), are going to serve different needs and offer different qualities. I don’t feel like I’m about to compare the good and the bad, I’m about to shed some additional light on two quality pumps. I also want to remind you that both individual reviews exist on the blog. Read the Lacevo HERE or the Eufy S1 Pro HERE.

Let’s start with which pump am I reaching to, assuming both are clean, both assembled, I’ve got T-5 minutes to leave the house. It’s a mad dash and I’m reaching for a pump... which will it be?!?

Yes this is a real pic of me while typing this and my honest pause before I answered this burning question.

Drum roll… the rose goes to ..

Ugh, okay the Eufy S1 PRO, you’re coming with me. It’s very important to explain why, also the reason why you’re here -- again, another "haha".

That case, man! I’m a sucker for convenience and that charging case is the cat’s ass.  But I also want to say one more piece on this snazzy case, the design could be a touch better. If you’re charging your motors on the go, without being attached to the collection cups, be sure that the hubs stay connected by traveling with the case horizontal. You don't want to be caught ready to pump without the hubs charged up and I've experienced them disconnecting if I wasn't thoughtful when carrying it without the cups attached to the hubs to hold them in place.

I will admit, sometimes I find the suction pattern of the Eufy S1 more comfortable. I have shared in the S1 Pro review that I respond very well to the Max Strength mode- which you can find in the Eufy app. It’s undeniable that the S1 is more quiet than the Lacevo, that’s not up for debate. I am not trying to beat a dead horse here, but I have turned the Lacevo off in the middle of a session because I felt all eyes were on me in a quiet immediate care waiting room.  I’m not ashamed of making noise but I personally don’t want to hear it either. That’s where the Eufy really can be a better pick. The Eufy is not silent but it’s quiet enough when in a moderately noisy setting, say a Starbucks' cafe, I cannot even hear it.

Touching on comfort once more, I feel the Eufy S1 has more of a gentle feel. The Lacevo is more of an all business pump, she's there to move milk. This said, I feel the Lacevo is more of a stark pull, not a bad thing but if you're looking for a pump to take it a little easier on the ladies then it's possible you may find the Lacevo a tad more aggressive.

Have I been reaching for my Lacevo pumps lately? I definitely have been! They’re still a great choice for elasticity and the design is more preferred for the fridge hack. Allow me to show why.

The Eufy is made up of your typical pieces, as is the Lacevo. However there’s a big difference in the cup design when it comes to the backflow protector. I prefer how the Lacevo’s backflow protector doesn’t seat into the cup like the Eufy does. It has happened more than once while taking the eufy motor off the cup, the backflow protector comes out with the motor. This forces me to have to touch the BFP while placing back into the cup, cue germs, and heaven forbid it falls hits the floor. This is one huge benefit and well thought out aspect of the Lacevo, you’ll never have to worry about anything coming part to the point of being concerned about contamination of any sort.

Some key features to mention, the Eufy S1 has warming technology in the flange. Also offered is the option to get the Eufy without the warming flange and simply a clear silicone (same S1 motor), like the Lacevo. It’s undeniable that the Lacevo tunnel design is the longest on the market, I don’t have measurements to back this up but I am very confident that it’s one of the longest, if not the longest. I have elastic tissue and can use both the Eufy and Lacevo, but if you’re looking for a very elastic tissue friendly pump, the Lacevo will be a more preferred pick.

Size, overall, I don’t feel one is better than the other. The Lacevo has a less rounded contour with a longer shape without looking awkward. The Eufy is more round and may be considered more noticeable. Regardless of which pump or cup you’re putting in your bra, it’s going to add something to your bra. Facts are facts. My best tip to compact this would be to simply to wear a scarf over your shoulders or an oversized sweater - voila, hidden.

End of the day, both of these options offer connection to an app. Neither have sensors which count ounces; but the Lacevo does have a sensor which you can turn on or off as an overflow tool which is a nice feature. The Eufy cup holds 5 ounces and the Lacevo holds 6 ounces. The Eufy S1 Pro comes with a charging case, the Lacevo is equipped with a fitting studio, wet dry bag, and carrying case (without charging).

Both fair options, but if I’m running out of the house, both pumps are clean and ready to use - I’m likely grabbing my Eufy. Overall, I’ve had slightly better luck with output due to the Max Strength option and ability to adjust the cycle speeds. And to bring it back home, I know I'll be able to charge up with the case if I'm out for a bit longer. The added security of the charging case seals the deal for me! As always, whats fair is fair. I want to add that on June 22, 2025 I used my Lacevo pumps all day, starting on a full charge. I was able to pump four times: 10:57a, 1:15p, 4:15p and 6:27p ending the day with one battery icon remaining. Ultimately, the Lacevo pumps still are a workhorse but will require external charging when needed, not provided by it's carrying case.
