The unique, casual design of the Larken X by Larken combines maximum comfort for nursing and hands-free pumping in one simple bra.
Key Features
- Price: $48
- Tank Top Look: The style of the bra resembles a comfy tank.
- Dual-Panel Design: For nursing, simply pull the fabric up to feed with ease. For pumping, pull up the top panel and pull down the under panel, set the flange, and let the panels sandwich together to keep flanges in place.
Pros
- One word—comfortable! This is an alright choice for wearing around the house, especially in those early postpartum days. Is it comfortable? Yea, but if you're easily annoyed with your boobs jiggling their way out of the bottom of a bra- then consider yourself warned.
Cons
- No Support: This isn’t a supportive bra by any means, so if that’s a priority, you may want to look elsewhere. But for the freshly postpartum stage, or for sleeping, this light structure might actually be ideal.
- Bottom Boob: you'll be a perfect contestant for any wet t-shirt contest. That is exactly what this bra reminds me of. Bottom of your boobs will hang out, you'll have no support and eventually you'll want to take it off
- Flange Positioning: Since the bra lacks structure, your flange may not always sit perfectly, so be cautious about your flange placement while pumping.
- Arm holes not as generous as I'd like: The bottom of the arm holes also seemed to rub my pits. Not always a fuzzy feeling.
Concluding Thoughts
The Larken X offers a relaxed fit that’s really only ideal for home and lounging, with easy access for both nursing and pumping. However, it does lack any type of support, especially for larger breasts.
