Key Features:
- Price: $76
- Design: Beautiful lace detailing that extends from the back to the front.
- Functionality: Works for both nursing and pumping. Though not specifically advertised for pumping with flanges, it does hold flanges securely with my little sandwiching technique.
Pros:
- Innovative Magnetic Clasp: Features a magnetic clasp with ridges that lock things securely into place. Don't be nervous to try it, it is super strong and incredibly easy to use—very cool!
- Comfortable and Stylish: The lace design makes it feel more like a bralette than a typical nursing bra, and it’s really comfortable on the skin.
- Great for Pumping: While not originally intended as a pumping bra, you can easily place flanges by clasping down, placing the lace over the flange on one side, then re-clasping over the other side of the flange. This allows the flange to be sandwiched in between the fabrics without stretching anything out. It holds flanges securely, even with repeated use.
Cons:
- Strap Pressure: The racer-style back puts a bit more pressure on the back of the neck, which I’m not a huge fan of, especially with larger breasts. I personally prefer over-the-shoulder straps for better support. But, I could just not be used to the style.
Concluding Thoughts
The Ella Bralette by Davin & Adley is a standout in both form and function. Its innovative magnetic clasp and delicate lace design set it apart from other nursing bras, and while it's not initially designed for pumping, it holds up beautifully with flanges. Would highly recommend!
